CLINTON WINS BIG IN CRAIN'S NY POLL
New York would remain true to its blueness and not to a native son, according to a presidential preference poll published by Crain's New York Business.
The poll shows Clinton not only winning a Democratic primary handily, but also trouncing Rudy Giuliani one-on-one.
In the poll, Clinton would trounce her two closest Democratic challengers in New York state. The poll shows Clinton getting 58% of the vote to Barack Obama's 18% and John Edwards' 5%.
In one-on-one matchups with Republicans, Clinton outpolled Giuliani 53% to 32% and Sen. John McCain of Arizona 55% to 26%. Giuliani easily beat McCain in a matchup of Republicans.
