Wow! Hard to imagine that two years out from the general election, you can't take one day off from the 2008 presidential race without missing something.So, In a lame attempt to catch up, I'll report to you now that Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh has decided against a run for president.
The New Republic had a story all ready to go in this week's editions, profiling Bayh. The editors argue, and we agree, that the piece is still illuminating in that it explains why Bayh had to give up his efforts.
